Winners!
Our winner from February (photos above &
below) is Heidi Sowatsky of Abby's Decorating, dba
Decorating Den Interiors / SWAT Design Team in
Saint Charles, MO.
The bedroom windows in this home were installed low on the wall,
leaving an awkward space between the windows and the ceiling.
Heidi cleverly incorporated Tableaux above the windows as a faux
transom to extend the windows upwards visually.
Heidi selected Tableaux Faux Iron in our
"Abano" design pattern which
matched the design in the drapery fabric used on the side
panels. The
Raw Cast
Iron finish color complements the other accents in the room. So
creative Heidi!

Our 1st runner-up for February (Before/After photos
below) was Marni Sugerman of
Milton Interiors, Inc.-Decorating Den Interiors in
Bronx, NY.
Talk about an amazing transformation! Marni's clients had
a very dated built-in wall unit which needed updating. Tableaux
Grilles were used as doors to provide a bar area in the unit.
Marni used mirrored plexiglass behind the grills to add a bit of
sparkle. The entire room was transformed to be a modern living
room for their family. We loved the
design in the details of the matching diamond-shaped knobs too!
Marni
chose Tableaux Elements and "Weave" design pattern. A custom
finish color to match the cabinetry was applied later. WOW
Marni!

Our 2nd Runner Up (photo below) was Robin McHaney of
Simply Elegant Interiors in Montgomery, TX.
This
was a total bathroom remodel. The tub and shower stall was
converted to a large walk-in shower. The window niche/bay
windows above the tub were a great place to add some Tableaux
pizzazz.
Robin chose our "Beijing" design pattern
in Elements finished in "Pewter". She also opted for our
color-accented SnugSeal gasket that came pre-attached to the
border for a tighter, more professional fit.

Last but not least, we have an
Honorable Mention in February (photo below) sent in by Julie
Moore of
Julie Dunfee Designs LLC in Lake Forest, IL.
Julie's
customer was looking for a bit of privacy for a transom window
and did not want to use a traditional shade. Julie remembered
Tableaux and envisioned using a decorative grille in the space. It
offered the perfect amount of privacy while adding a bit of "artwork"
to the room.
Julie chose
the Tableaux "Arcola" design pattern only available in our
Tableaux Metal product family, which recently became an option
for Residential projects. The steel piece was powder coated in "Antique Bronze II"
finish color. Well done Julie!
